The Dominican crop of 1997 was extraordinary, and Manuel “Manolo” Quesada saved a large number of pounds of tobacco from this crop. Blended with fillers from the 1997 crop along with current Dominican and Pennsylvania tobaccos, and wrapped in an oily Broadleaf wrapper, these cigars offer a noble yet intense smoke, remaining smooth to the palate.
